The Mae Taeng area offers stunning scenery and is, besides River Rafting, also a popular place for trekking experiences. Mae Taeng is located approx. 1 hour north of Chiang Mai. You get the opportunity to visit this beautiful area around Mae Taeng River Rafting on this full-day excursion with a visit to a hill tribe.
09.00 : Pick up from your hotel
09.30 : Start driving north to the small village of Mae Taeng, approx. 1 hour north of Chiang Mai.
At camp, you have some free time before lunch, and you can have a look at the helmets and life jackets. After a brief instruction on paddling and safety, you are ready for the best river rafting trip on the Mae Tang River (2 hours with 14 drops).
At the end of the trip we visit a hill tribe before we return back to Chiang Mai.
