About one hour’s drive from Ao Nang is the tropical rain forest of Kao Prak Bang National Park. Here you can stroll through the lush and fragrant jungle to the “Emerald Pool”, where you can swim in crystal clear enriched mineral water.

We will then proceed to take a dip in the hot springs which are of natural volcanic origin. These are visited by many Thais who come to enjoy the perfect temperature, which is also believed to be good for the health, especially the skin.

From the National Park, we stop en route and have a delicious picnic lunch before continuing to Wat Tham Sua (“Tiger Cave Temple”), one of the most famous monasteries in southern Thailand.

You can meet monks, and see how they live in the beautiful surroundings.

If you feel up for it, you are welcome to take the 1237 steps to the top of this temple mountain and experience one of the most breathtaking views in Thailand, if not the world – in any direction you see lush forests, limestone karsts, and magnificent sea.

During the day we visit:

Thermal spring pools enriched by natural mineral salts in shaded rainforest. Ideal for bathing and soothing aching muscles.

Informative jungle walk in Thung Theo, the last major area of lowland rainforest left in Thailand, and rich in biodiversity.

Spectacular river’s source, a warm water crystal clear pool, 1-2 metres deep, like a gift of nature in the middle of the jungle. + Picnic Lunch  

Cultural and meditation centre, a unique forest temple with caves, 1,000 year old trees, and the best viewpoint of Krabi.

16.00 : Arrive back in Krabi + hotel transfer.
