November 2008
In October the weather was really nice, but in November we got a lot of rain and only a few days with sunshine.
Let’s hope December will be better weather, so the customers can enjoy the sun. All the dive shops, restaurants and tour suppliers opened during November for the high season.
Also the ferries to Krabi, Phi Phi, Phuket and to the islands south of Ko Lanta like Koh Ngai, Koh Mook and Koh Lipe has daily service.

Sumate Elephant safari can now also offer a baby elephant show for it’s visitors.
News Koh Lanta General:
The season has finally started and the beaches are clean so the guests can enjoy there holidays.
 Departures and arrivals from different places are busy everyday at Saladan Pier.
 News Klong Dao:
A new Dentist just opened 2 weeks ago at the main road at Klong Dao Beach. Before there was only dental service 2 times a week on Koh Lanta.
The Royal Lanta Resort will offer a new service for there guests soon with there own library.
 Muay Thai Fights at the Klong Dao Stadium every Friday during the whole season.
News Pra Ae Beach / Long Beach:
The Bajen restaurant will open a sports bar at Long Beach (opposite the restaurant).
National Park Koh Rok:
Open again since 01/11 2008. Right now the best place to visit just at the beginning of the high season.
Still very quiet because only a view speedboats go to the place per day
