The weather has been good and hot in March & April. In the beginning of April we got some more rain and clouds, but still we have mostly sun on Ko Chang.
New on Koh Chang Island:
Soon it will be possible to play Paintball on Ko Chang Island. A new Paintball Company will open soon between White Sand Beach and Klong Prao Beach.  Koh Chang General: The high season is still over Ko Chang and March month was very busy for all the resorts. April is also busy on Ko Chang, but mostly with Thai families from Bangkok on holidays with many long weekends and the Song Kran Festival in the middle of April. A new rescue team from Trat province is now operating on Ko Chang. They have an office between White Sand Beach and Klong Prao Beach and can easy assist on beach accidents. They also have their on boat if they need to assist on the sea. On 26 April there will be the fourth annual Organized Underwater Clean-Up on Ko Chang. The clean-up is being organized by DASTA, the Designated Area of Sustainable Tourism Administration of Thailand and by the Koh Chang National Marine Park.  News: White Sand Beach: Still a lot of construction work everywhere in White Sand Beach. The Government is making a new walkway along the road in White Sand Beach, which should be finish in May 2008. 
The Mac Resort and Lagoon Resort in the middle of White Sand Beach has not yet completed the new building on both side of the road. News: Klong Prao Beach: During the last few months we have had now 3 new ATV companies opening up on Ko Chang. Hiring an ATV used to be expensive, however thanks to some cut throat competition you can rent a small Chinese made ATV for 250 baht for half an hour. You will find ATVs by the roadside at Klong Prao Beach, Klong Prao Airport and Pearl Beach for around 450 – 500 baht/hour.
News: Other Islands: Rayong Island Resort will also stay open as rest of the resorts on Ko Mak like; Koh Mak Resort, Goodtime Resort, Makathanee Resort, etc.
