New on Koh Chang Island:
Finally Ko Chang’s famous restaurant (Invito Italian) has moved away from the noisy area at White Sand Beach and up in a new restaurant.The new location is next to the Bangkok-Trat International Clinic and around 500 meter from the old location and as the government is now making a walkway out of White Sand Beach people can easily walk to the restaurant from all hotels in White Sand Beach. The owner Patrik has been working the last couple of month on the restaurant and it really looks fantastic. Clients can whose between a outside garden setting or indoor air-condition. On the top of the restaurant is a small exclusive bar called The Tao with nice furniture and sea view. Patrik / Invito Italian plans to open on 01-July 2008.


Koh Chang General:
June month was extreme quiet on Koh Chang and most hotels was only occupied with 20-30% most days.

News: White Sand Beach:
The government is making the road wider from White Sand Beach and the whole way up to Bangkok-Trat International Clinic as on the picture below. The new part will be walk way and make it safer to walk out of White Sand Beach.

In the center of White Sand Beach opposite the MAC Resort & Hotel a small department store will soon open with 2 floor of shops.

News: Klong Prao Beach:
In the beginning of Klong Prao Beach also called Chai Chet more shop units are being build during this summer. Below pictures is from outside Coconut Beach Resort just next to Paradise Resort where more shops will be ready for the visitors around September 2008.

The road leading into The Dewa Resort and the VJ Hotel & Spa has finally been made as on the picture below.

A new restaurant in Kai Bae has open this months called the Pirates Pub.


News: Lonely Beach / Bang Bao Fisherman Village:
A new restaurant / resort is being build up in the mountain on the way to the fisherman village Bang Bao. The restaurant will have a fantastic sea view and will be a nice stop for all the people visiting the famous fisherman village Bang Bao. The new restaurant / resort should be ready around October 2008.
