The weather has been perfect with a lot of sun and quiet ocean, which makes the area perfect for all divers. We had a little rain in the end of the month, but only for 1 day and the sun was back on Koh Chang.

New on Koh Chang Island:
A new elephant camp has open on Koh Chang close to the biggest waterfall Klong Plu. We now have total 4 elephant camps on the island. The Ban Kwan Chang in the nord end of Ko Chang and Chang Chutiman, Ban Chang Thai and the new Klong Plu Ban Chang all on the west coast close to all the resorts.

Koh Chang General:
We have high season on Koh Chang now and all the beaches are full of people.

Below picture is the local taxi on Koh Chang which brings the people around on the island from early morning until very late in the night. The prices are from 30 – 100 THB per person depending on the distance.

News: Klong Son & the eastside:

News: White Sand Beach:
A little outside White Sand Beach opposite the Bangkok – Trat international Clinic a new pub with lice music has open by the name BURN OUT.

News: Klong Prao Beach:
In the beginning of Klong Prao Beach opposite to the VJ Plaza a new optic shop has open on the roadside. This is close to Paradise Resort and Koh Chang Resort and will give some more shopping to the area.

The small airport in Klong Prao is getting more and more popular among the tourists and many people are coming here in the afternoon to try the small planes around Ko Chang. The price for a short 15 minutes flight is only 1.750 THB per person.

The biggest bakery on Ko Chang called CRUST has just open a new restaurant next to the bakery.

News: Kai Bae Beach
In Kai Bae the owner of the famous Sabay Bar (White Sand Beach) has open a new night club / restaurant on the street which offers live music every night.
