New on Koh Chang Island:
A new bar / restaurant outside Amari Emerald Cove Resort, The Dewa Resort and VJ Hotel has open with live music every evening / night. The JuJu Bar & Restaurant is located on the road only 7-8 minuets walk from the hotels.

Koh Chang General:
The high season is still over Koh Chang and all the beaches and most hotels are full of people. On Koh Chang the high season will continue until end March where the island will get more quiet until beginning of May when the low season starts on Koh Chang.

After only little rain the last 4-5 months the island is now really dry and most rivers has run out of waters. Below picture is from the biggest river on Koh Chang (Klong Plu river), which comes from the Klong Plu Waterfall and runs out on Klong Prao Beach.

Sailing is still getting more popular on Koh Chang and we have been seeing an increase of companies offering Sailing around Koh Chang National Park.

News: White Sand Beach:
Still a lot of construction work everywhere in White Sand Beach. The Government has now also started making a new walkway along the road.

The MAC Hotel in the middle of White Sand Beach has not yet completed the new building on both side of the road.

A little outside White Sand Beach next to the Paddy’s Palms Irish Pub a new Scandinavian Restaurant has open by the name: Greven & Baronen

News: Klong Prao Beach:
During the last months we have had 2 new ATV companies opening up on Koh Chang. This means that we now have 3 companies on the island offering ATV for fun. The 2 new companies from Phuket has both made and very exiting track up in the mountains just before Klong Prao Beach.

News: Lonely Beach/Bailan Beach/Bang Bao:
Our famous fisherman village Bang Bao is still the most visited place on the island for it’s fantastic seafood restaurants and atmosphere. Bang Bao fisherman village is also the center of all boat traffic for people going to the southern islands or snorkeling for a day trip.

News: Other Islands:
On Koh Mak Island a new resort has open by the name Palm Beach Resort with only 8 nice bungalows around a small pool.
