



Klong Dao Beach
Klong Dao Beach is the place where it all started and is still today the busiest beach on the island.
The beach is also famous for the night life with many restaurants and bars located directly on the beach.
In the north end of Klong Dao Beach you will find the famous city of Saladan.
The city is the centre of Koh Lanta ill find some of the islands best Seafood restaurants here.
In Saladan you will also find the biggest local market every Sunday.
Phra Ae Beach (Long Beach)
A bit more south you’ll find the largest beach of the island, which is called Phra Ae Beach or Long Beach.
It’s about 4 kilometres long and this is where some of the biggest hotels are located.
Phra Ae Beach / Long Beach are much more quiet than Klong Dao Beach and you’ll find some areas of
the beach where there aren’t any hotels or restaurants. From Phra Ae Beach you can easily
travel to Saladan for shopping and dinner with the local taxi’s, which you will find on the raod.
Khong Klong Beach
Further down the west coast you will find Klong Khong Beach, The beach is around 3 kilometres long
with beautiful white sand set with many palm trees. This beach is much more quiet than Klong Dao Beach
and most of the resorts here are small family owned places with a laid back local attitude.
Klong Nin Beach
Headin south past Klong Khong Beach you’ll find Klong Nin Beach, which is similar to Klong Khong Beach
with the same laid back local attitude from local owned family resorts. The beach is around 2 kilometres
long and covered with various tropical trees, such as coconut and pine. On Klong Nin Beach
you will also find many small local bars with a great atmosphere.
