Koh Chang Waterfalls
Than Mayon WaterfallThan Mayon waterfall is the second biggest on Koh Chang after the Klong Plu waterfall. You’ll find the
Than Mayon Waterfall on the east side of Koh Chang close to the city Dan Mai, where also the local hospital is located.
The distance is around 400 meter up to the pool, where you can swim and relax.
The waterfall is famous among the Thai people because the King Rama V and Rama VI have
visited the area and signed their royal names on the highest cliff of the cascade.

Klong Plu WaterfallOn the west side you’ll find the biggest and most beautiful waterfall Klong Plu. It is located close to Ban Klong Prao
and you have to walk around 800 meter or around 25 min up to the pool. The fall is 30 meter and the pool is
perfect for swimming and relaxing. If you are interested it is possible to walk up to the top of the waterfall
from the right side of the fall. But if you want to walk longer into the jungle we can recommend
you to join a guided trekking with Mr. Tan into the fantastic jungle of Koh Chang.

Klong Nonsi WaterfallKlong Nonsi is the smallest of the 3 waterfalls, but it is a good alternative to Than Mayon Waterfall.
You can find the Klong Nonsi waterfall on the east side of Koh Chang. The entrance is located inside the
city Dan Mai. The walk up to the waterfall and pool is around 700 meters through rubber and fruit plantation.
It is possible to walk up to level 2 and 3 of the waterfall but it can be diffecult because it is normally very slippery on the rocks.
