Cooking Class

Itinerary

 

The cooking class starts at 10.00, and you will be back at your hotel at approx. 15.00.

During this class you will be introduced to the wide range of ingredients such as herbs and spices which, when combined, provide Thai food with a unique, yet delicate and balanced taste. You get a recipe booklet to take home so you can remember your newfound skills.

 

10.00: Arrival at the cooking class, explanation of the course and what to do.

10.30: The cooking begins! Cut vegetables, meat, chicken, and cook your own wonderful Thai dishes.

14.00: Enjoy your home cooked Thai food.

15.00: Transfer back to your hotel.

Cooking Class

Our English speaking, professionally trained Thai chef is ready to teach you culinary skills in his own exclusive restaurant. You will learn about Thai herbs, vegetables, and other ingredients used in delicious Thai food. You learn to chop and cut ingredients, and then it's time to make Thai food.

The restaurant has an outdoor cooking area where you cook your own wonderful Thai cuisine. The Thai chef will set an example, and after you have observed carefully, it's your turn!

You will cook 3 different Thai dishes: Khung Saroong which is shrimp wrapped in yellow noodles and then deep fried. The second dish is chicken with cashew nuts, which consists of fresh roasted vegetables and chicken in a pan, seasoned Thai style, and topped with cashew nuts.

The last dish is the Penang curry. For this dish, fry the fresh curry paste, mix with coconut milk, season mix, and finish the dish with some typical Thai spices.

When you are done, it’s time to eat your home cooked Thai food!
