4 days / 3 nights
Day 1: Thonburi Railway & Amphawa floating market (Lunch / Dinner)
We cross the Chao Praya river (Bangkok’s main river) to Wong Wian Yai, where we catch the southbound train leaving at 10.00 to Samut Sakhon. We stop for lunch in Samut Sakhon and explore the sights in this suburb of Bangkok before continuing our train journey to Samut Songkhram. This is the location of Amphawa floating market, a throwback to the old days of Siam.

Day 2: Samut Songkhram (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
In early morning we head out for breakfast in the charming surroundings of Samut Songkhram. We depart by boat to Wat Bang Kae Noi, a Buddhist temple with exquisite carved wooden ceilings and walls, and Wat Bang Kung, an old temple ensconced in tree roots. Time permitting, we will explore the floating market before another boat ride. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Cha Am (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
This morning we drive to Cha Am, where we stay overnight. Cha Am is known for its quiet atmosphere and its 5 km long. We’ll spend the day at the beach and at night we will explore the local night markets.

Day 4: Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (Breakfast / Lunch)
We start the day driving south to visit Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (“Mountains of 300 peaks”), the first coastal national park in Thailand. We will relax at the beach if time allows. Expected departure back to Bangkok is 18.00.
