7 days / 6 nights
Day 1: Bangkok-Kanchanaburi (Lunch / Dinner)
We will collect you by bus at New Road Guest House in Bangkok at approximately 08.45. We will then drive to Kanchanaburi – a trip that takes around three hours. Upon arrival we will check in at a local guesthouse and have lunch. At approximately 14:00 we will ride a boat downriver to Khao Poon Cave. There will then be a sight-seeing trip that includes the war museum, war cemetery and the famous bridge over the River Kwai. Dinner will be served at the guesthouse and you will get a half-hour foot massage. The rest of the evening is set aside for free time. You may want to take a swim or sign up for some optional tours or enjoy different types of massage. (Additional tours/activities are not included in the package price.)

Day 2: Erawan National Park (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast the tour will continue to Erawan National Park, where we will take in the beautiful seven-level waterfall with small lakes on either side. Remember to bring your swimsuit! After lunch, take an hour-long elephant ride through the tropical rainforest, followed by bamboo rafting on the river. We’ll then journey to the Hellfire pass before going to the Death Railway for a 30-minute train tour, and our last stop of the day will be the bridge over the River Kwai. Return to the guest house at 18.00.

Day 3: Kanchanaburi and Lake House Adventure (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
You may opt for a bike tour of the city if you’d like, but it’s not obligatory. Other options include swimming, sightseeing, shopping in the city, and massages (not included in package). After lunch, you will be picked up by minibus at noon for the transfer onto the lake house.

Day 4: Water Fall and Coconut Island (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Wake up to a healthy breakfast and help yourself to the 24-hour tea and coffee bar. Opt for any one of our brief daily excursions or stroke around the lake in one of the kayaks we provide for you. Or take laziness to the extreme by lounging all day on the second-floor sun deck with book and cocktail in hand.
Who says good things only come from hard work? Our Dai Chong Thong waterfall trek is more like a stroll. The reward for your labors is a cascade of water where you will be the only tourist, foreign or otherwise, in sight.
Day 5: Elephant riding, lunch at the Karen village (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
If you’re like us, you believe in responsible travel. You know that the ethical thing to do is to keep elephants in their natural habitat (which does not include Bangkok streets). So, you go to the Lake House Adventure with Visit Beyond to ride elephants in the green jungle undergrowth, through rivers and over hills. Then you take an easy ride back to the house boat on a bamboo raft before being transported to the isolated coconut island you will find a variety that has not been bastardized by your average coconut. This exclusive growing region yields a coconut with delectable milk and soft flesh. Visit the homes of the small Burmese ethnic group that populates this small island and grows this unique delicacy.
Day 6: Free day
Enjoy the day swimming, fishing or relax in the sun. In the afternoon you will leave the boat and check into a guest house on the shore of the lake. You will have plenty of free time to explore the surrounding towns.

Day 7: Sangklaburi-Bangkok (Breakfast)
